Aadhaar Update History

There are instances when there is a requirement for changes in Aadhar. They may be for any reason, but UIDAI allows the identity users to apply for an update and check their Aadhar update history. But before going into the steps to check Aadhar update history, let’s know about the platform and its importance.

What is the Importance of Aadhar?

With Aadhar, the government verifies all the applicants for the government schemes and the reimbursement process or that the delivery mechanism of the benefits is efficient and effective. For citizens, it provides an easily verifiable identity proof. The Aadhaar number holder can easily authenticate the identity, update the information, check the Aadhar update history multiple times, and use it wherever identity proof is needed.

Moreover, since it is a universal system throughout the country, it enables any citizen of India to migrate to any state of the country with a verifiable identity.

What is the Essence of Aadhar?

Aadhaar is a 12-digit unique identification number which is operational in India. The Indian government launched the entity on 28 January 2009. The application process includes the basic demographic data and the applicant’s biometric information.

The core plan of the government behind the Aadhar initiative was to bring the entire Indian population under one identification system. UIDAI has the Authority to issue Aadhaar numbers after completing the verification process of the applicant.

What are the Reasons To Go For An Update In Aadhar?

The Government of India has a core plan for making the Aadhar identity flexible and operational in the long run. Thus the government allows the Aadhar holders to make certain changes whenever necessary.

For example, you can apply for a change in your personal details like address, email, phone number etc. The ability to change your details in Aadhar by yourself makes this identity flexible, user-friendly and viable in the long run.
